Default Does anyone make and sell finished layouts?

I thought I would ask that question since many of us are not necessarily the best "modelers" in the world.

While there are probably plenty of logistical issues with shipping a finished layout to a customer, I also have to believe there are many model railroaders out there that might be willing to pay for a finished layout done by someone other than themselves.

There have been many people that have custom built layouts through the years.

I spent 2 months in South Carolina to help build a 20.3 scale garden layout and after expenses, I took home about $15,000. Another one I built was a 8' X 24' n scale layout for a guy in Nebraska. I built it in sections and then spent a week on site setting it up and finishing the scenery between sections. I made somewhere around $10,000 after expenses on that one. I've also done a few small (4'X8' and smaller) for around $1000 plus expenses.

How deep is your pocketbook???? and what do you want.

Not sure what company this guy works for, but I enjoy his YouTube channel:

An email to him might bear fruit?

I watch his channel as well. If my understanding is correct he owns his own company. Here is the link to his site.

I'm not sure what size of a layout you are looking for. Take a look here (interesting videos) and then contact him if you have an interest.
