Ah, yes, "Moose River", from those carefree pre-Covid days:

Moose River, a town that makes me smile
I'm traveling there in style today
Oh, steam maker, you diesel breaker
Wherever you're goin', I'm steamin' your way

Two Mooses, off to free the world
From the clutches of diseasels mean
We're after the same rainbow's end, waitin' 'round the bend
Cuz in Moose River, it's all steam. ...

    This month so far

6 sheets of Evergreen styrene to match the Walthers Superior Paper Mill kit , for scratch building and kit bashing some buildings for my Paper Mill . And 2 packs of the Walthers assorted storage tanks . And no Moose , no pics till the goodies arrive . Sorry
Might have to eat toaster crumb soup a few days till next payday , but at least I got my priorities straight

Only been modelling US railroads for 12 months and based in the UK, but a shipment from the US this month includes a trio of Kato TTX intermodal well wagons (really well priced), four auto-rack articulated sets and a Fox Valley SD70! My bank manger may not be happy ... but I am!

Two things I had ordered came in. A 3D printed industry from "DIY and Digital Railroad" through Etsy. It has a loading dock on opposite sides, separate roofs and loading doors. I have no idea where I will use it but it is an interesting model. The Classic Metal Works car is a Buick LeSabre station wagon that reminds me of the "Family Truckster" from the 1st "Vacation" movie, especially the paint scheme. A pre-order from earlier in the year through Toy Train Heaven. Cheers! Maurice

You could attach a leash trailing off the rear bumper...

Went down to the LHS and pumped some money into it. With shipping as high as it is, the price is about the same as online. Also snagged an N Scale Lot on Fleecebay.

I just finished a couple deals. One on a Athearn MRC Challenger and another on a Key's Nakamura Built GG1 "Black Jack". Ill need to get in contact with a friend of mine in the states and send him some money as I probably have about 10 Locos I need him to send me. Plus some decoders.

    To the States ?
Japan mail , does not ship to the States right now . The only place they ship to in NA is Canada . This was posted on Plazza Japan . And its Japan Mail making that decision , not Plazza Japan .
And this was about 10 days ago I read this

Hopefully your vendor let's you know that sooner than later

    Steve

Edit , I see that Japan Mail does do surface , my mistake

These arrived in the mail today.

So far I've been restricting myself to SP, UP and ATSF but the GG1 of course marks the end of that school of thought - and opens a very large can of worms
The same seller had the WP reefer with the large feather which I've been wanting for a while, so it sort of fell naturally into the shopping cart.

Purchase #3 for the month. I picked up a new Weller variable soldering station for when I get time to start building some turnouts from the Fasttrax purchase earlier this month. This will be dedicated to that task. I have 3 other pencil irons for general purpose and electrical work but wanted something for track work at the bench.

Well, I bought some passenger and freight cars to start rounding out my locomotive collection, and according to tracking they're out for delivery today... on the other side of the country. So that's fun.
