Tavares & Gulf Railroad: Info?

Does anyone here have photos of or information about the Tavares & Gulf Railroad? (Other than ones that can be easily found by googling?)


Moose has "googled" the railroad the past few hours, but has not found much information.

Moose want to build a small train in memory of Mrs Moose's father as he grew up and was familiar with the T&G RR and the area in which it operated.

Although, Moose is a little concerned about what Moose has found so far (see below) -- although these oddly reflect step-pop's character!

T&G nick names: “Tug & Grunt;” “Try & Go”; “Turtle & Gopher;” and “Taters & Grits.”

Moose you might try Trainboard or the MRH magazine forums for more info as they seem to have more people interested in the smaller lines.

Thank you for the suggestion ... You know, asking on other forums kind of sounds sacrilegious.

Moose never considered that thie forum would be less interested in smaller lines than other forums.
