Default RAILNSCALE - MAN 750 Metrobus

    Hi!

New! MAN 750 HO M11A "Metrobus"
The innovative and successful MAN 750 HO M11A was produced and delivered from 1962 to 1974. At the time, the Metrobus was considered a modern city bus that was adapted to the requirements of the time. What was particularly new was the so-called self-supporting construction, in which the chassis and vehicle body formed a unit. The 11-meter variant “M11A” was the most common version.

The following un painted kits are available

    N2170 - MAN 750 HO M11A "Metrobus"

N2170F - MAN 750 HO M11A "Metrobus", supplied with transparent foils for side and rear windows

    N2670 - SET 2x MAN 750 HO M11A "Metrobus"

The Metrobuses served many cities. Several of these Metrobuses have been preserved. More about: https://railnscale.com/2021/07/18/ma...etrobus/
N2171 - MAN 750 HO M11A "Metrobus" Munich

N2171F - MAN 750 HO M11A "Metrobus" Munich, supplied with transparent foils for side and rear windows

    N2671 - SET 2x MAN 750 HO M11A "Metrobus" Munich

The Metrobus shown here has a closed radiator grill, which is distinctive for the buses of the Stadtwerke München of Munich. Several of these Metrobuses have been preserved. More about: https://railnscale.com/2021/07/19/ma...munchen/
The Metrobus wasn't designed with this intention. I'll check whether such a conversion would be conceivable. I think the wheelbases are a bit different though.

    Hi Gordon,

I just received the basic dimensions of the Faller driveline. Unfortunately the wheelbase is too long to fit underneath the Metrobus.

    Best regards,
    Maurice
