Thanks guys. I will post my latest set of photos of how I finished this model tonight. It will show how I detailed the roof and cornice. I will be posting a lot of photos so I know I can only post 10 per post so there'll be at least 3 posts. It's taken me the last two days of working on it all day, both days.

I'll take it outside tomorrow if it's not raining and take some natural lighting photos. This took a long time to make some huge setbacks and mistakes but I'm really happy with it.

That was a great how to thread, And the building cane out looking great!

A seldom modelled detail would be to add roof drains at the back of the roof. Has to be a way to get the rain and snowmelt water down to the ground or sewer. Some building it goes to the street, but in most it is straight to the sewer.
Northern Pacific and Black Hills RR in N, of course!!

Badlandnp... That's a great idea. Never even came to mind, Thank you. After finishing this I also regret not putting in a back door or loading dock and door. Oh well. All part of the hobby is learning as you go.

Excellent! One minor sidewalk detail. The parking meter on the right is too close to the fire hydrant. A car parked there will surely interfere with the fire fighters and their hoses. I've heard they can get a tad grouchy....

Wow, great observation. I would not have ever caught that one. Thanks. It made me laugh too.

No problem on a one way street, left to right. Or in "drive on the left" countries.

I took a few photos of this model in the natural light the other day. I always like how the nature light makes the model really look better.
