Post Weekend Update (6th May 2022)

Please update us on the progress you have made on your MRR projects this week (commencing: 6th May 2022).

This weekly thread is to post little snippets about your layout/project progress.
This is not be a substitute for your layout build thread, but just a mini update on what you got done for the week.

You can link from your layout build thread to your posts in this thread as a part of a more extensive post there, or visa-versa (post to your build thread and link to that post when contributing to this thread.

Click on a post's #number (right-hand end of the post header) to get the URL to that particular post in your browsers address bar.
Copy and paste this as needed.

So, fellow nSn'ers, what have you been up to this week?

After the 4th try, I got a usable model printed for a water tower building. I'll print the spout and attachments separately....

'Good' version on the left, two failures on the right. First failure, we don't talk about....

    Drove trains, GN specifically,

And spent time digging into this mess of a work bench and around the layout itself.

Which of course started other ponderings about several issues with different things on the layout........
Northern Pacific and Black Hills RR in N, of course!!

I spent a lot of time this week testing the uncoupling magnets on this three track siding, and this weekend managed to get two of the tracks in:

Default Some more scenery work on the N scale Housatonic RR

I really enjoy seeing everyone's progress here!

I had a couple of hours free, scattered throughout the weekend, so I added some more undergrowth, deadfall and some riprap under the arch bridge in the Cornwall Bridge, CT portion of my layout. I did work on the forested portion toward the backdrop section of the scene. I still need to do some sparse static grass between the tracks and along the spur track for Becton Dickenson, which branches off to the right. All, in all, I did the undergrowth detail for a section about 6 feet in length on my N scale layout.
