Post Weekend Update (15th Jul 2022)

Please update us on the progress you have made on your MRR projects this week (commencing: 15th Jul 2022).

This weekly thread is to post little snippets about your layout/project progress.
This is not be a substitute for your layout build thread, but just a mini update on what you got done for the week.

You can link from your layout build thread to your posts in this thread as a part of a more extensive post there, or visa-versa (post to your build thread and link to that post when contributing to this thread.

Click on a post's #number (right-hand end of the post header) to get the URL to that particular post in your browsers address bar.
Copy and paste this as needed.

So, fellow nSn'ers, what have you been up to this week?

    Default Through freight to Portsmouth

Track cleaning completed. As promised, a video running all the way from Seabrook to Portsmouth Yard.

Sorry about the finger in the way at the top in the first portion of the video.

Finished up reassembly on a Bachmann S4 and a BLI SW7. I stripped both down, primed, painted and decals. They'll soon be back to their owner. I'd like to put a little bit of weathering on them to hide a little this and that, but he wants right from the paint shop shine. So that's what it will be !

For @edfhinton 's question in the: "Through freight to Portsmouth" video post

Standardized grade crossing horn signal: 2 long, 1 short and 1 long

You have a lot of tooting to do!

I finally got the outer loop ties and rail laid in this section, as well as installed a couple of turnouts:

Now back to more roadbed for the next section!
