Default Pre-orders for Kato Big Boy?

I had heard they had a model of the Big Boy on display at Trainfest or one of the other recent shows. If you attended and saw it was there any information on when it will be ready for pre-orders?

It's been available for pre-order for over a year. I placed my reservation on 11/10/21.

Good question. I reserved mine from hogtrainz, but he seems to have taken down the page.

MicroMark (of all places) is still listing it - https://www.micromark.com/Kato-USA-U...kSound-N-Scale

You can see a few pictures of this early sample attached to this post - please note that this is a very early unfinished sample, with many parts not finished and some being 3D printed test parts.
While we are not yet taking orders for these engines, here are some features you can look forward to:
    - Twin Coreless motor drive for unprecedented pulling power and operational smoothness
    - Available as an Analog engine, unique among Big Boys produced on the market, as well as with factory installed DCC and DCC & Sound.
    - 11" (282mm) minimum operation radius
    - Modern real-world paint appearance

For those worried about the gap between the cab and tender Kato responded that this is an FEF drawbar; the final production one is still in development.
