    Hi all

I have this loco in N scale Atlas FM H24-66 however the front coupler has come off / broken, can someone please direct me to a replacement or if this can be fixed?

    Thanks

I don’t see it in the MT conversion charts and haven’t changed mine over, but I would start with a 1015 or 1016.
Most of the Atlas lokies I have changed over take them, and they drop in.
    If they’re too low, then try a 2004 or a 2001.
If you don’t like to assemble them, then buy the -1’s.

I keep a small stash of all four of them, just to.

The 1015/1016 is the correct coupler.....I checked my H24-66. And yes, yours is definitely broken, only repair would be glue, and it most likely would fail again the first time you put a load on it. You COULD take the coupler apart and replace the part, but that would require stealing the part from another coupler because the parts aren't sold separately.....so at that point it's much simpler to just replace the whole coupler. You might save the parts for future use. I recently broke one, and I happened to have a broken coupler on hand that had broken a different piece, so I was able to do a repair.

    Yes, that's the one.
Yes, just un-screw the old coupler and replace with the new 1015.
Don't overtighten least the coupler will not function properly.
