I expect to be returning to my modules shortly, so I've bought some wall lamps and yard floodlights from Viessmann and Faller. All are LED and warm white, except for the modern wall lamp kits which are cold white, but I can replace the LEDs with warm whites before assembly and mounting.

I found a 3D print from Japan on Ebay of some elaborate piping for a chemical refinery. The part is hard to make out with the supports but the seller had a nicely painted finished piece.

It wasn't cheap but nicely printed with fine details. Would be hard to create this from scratch. This seller was half the cost of another plus free shipping.

I have seen postal costs from Japan run $25-30+ for even small items.

Rather than Cobalts and locos I bought some Wabbits along with some Acculites Snaps for easier wiring. I can build harnesses at the workbench then just plug in and mount the boards.

Attended the Fall Frost Train Show at the Allentown, PA fair grounds. I even took a list of things I wanted. Out of five items, I only found two. I did pick up a few other items that "I didn't know I needed".

The book is the third by Mike Bednar. A collection of his articles and photos from "Trains & Railroads of the Past" (TRP) magazine. The silver item at the bottom is an Ammonia tank for a Lionel car(O-gauge). I think it will make a good basis for a oversize load in N-scale. I am thinking of adding an extension to one end and some smaller pipe connections and attachments along the body. The two cars were very cheap. $2.00 for the brown Trix German flat car. It is missing one wheel set but I have plenty of those. It is so old that it says "West Germany" on the bottom. The blue Peco grain wagon was only $4.00 and has no damage. The disposable micro paint brushes I use often. The cutting mat is for taking to clinics. I signed up for a "Make and Take" clinic at a NMRA regional convention and among the items it suggested to bring was the mat. All the cutting mats that I have are pretty big, so it seemed a good idea to get this. All in all, a good show with a lot of variety. Cheers! Maurice

Once again, I'm buying too much (is that possible?) So far bought a couple of MT 2 bay hoppers (Milwaukee Road), an Atlas Purina boxcar, a group of 8 bulkheads (for flatcars), a DPM night life building kit, 2 Model Power buildings (church and firestation), 2 ConCor buildings (warehouse and bakery), a City Classics Gas Station kit, an Atlas GP35 (added 12 grain hoppers from my stash for a total of 65 cars, and it was too much for the 2 SD9s to pull ), and pre-ordered an Atlas Gold RSD4/5.

If I knew these would get here so soon, I would have waited on my last post here. Four Peco wagon kits for my British switching layout purchased from Hatton's in the U.K. A set of Woodland Scenics figures from my local hobby shop. These will be split between the British layout and my American one. The people on the bench specifically for my British passenger station. I also purchased two small stone sheds from Hatton's that I thought were N-scale but are obviously OO-scale(or HO-scale). I will put those aside with my American HO-scale stuff that I am still holding on to, either to be sold or used if my eyesight get so bad I have to move up scales.

I can't stop! Found an Atlas C&NW GP7 for a price I couldn't pass up (hoping either it, or the GP35 I bought earlier will speed match with the SD9s), then I went off the deep end and bought a group of 25 DPM kits. I only have an immediate use for about 8 of them, but the going rate (with shipping) for DPM kits is about $20 so I was looking at $160 for 8 kits, and I got the 25 for $180........I'm sure I'll find a use for more of them since I've been thinking of turning a small layout I inherited into a Christmas layout.

Well I didn't want to unpack my N scale stuff and risk and issues with the humidity so I ordered some new locomotives, passenger cars, and Unitrack for the holiday season. Should be here next week! Had an order in my cart with MTS, but everything sold out before I could check out so I went with some Kato JNR stuff from Plaza Japan and two new in box Santa Fe Kato Mikados(willing to trade for GS4s) from eBay! I have some spare Kato knuckle couplers but may just leave the rapidos since it's just for the holidays.

Due to the 10 image limit here's the JNR Diesel I decided to go with! I was hoping to snag something North American, but everything was out of stock due to Black Friday sales. I figured a random Japanese diesel locomotive was better than no locomotive!

The Christmas Boxcar is obviously, for my Christmas tree layout. I have to figure out how to change the couplers on that. The Metcalfe tarmac is for an experiment in "Bogus Ballasting" on a Micro-Inglenook layout, as are the B-T Models Flatbed truck and Ratio Coal Depot kit. Cheers! Maurice

Someone must have canceled their MTS order as a single UP 1943 "Spirit of the Union Pacific" SD70ACe appeared in stock today. So I jumped on the opportunity! You can never have too many SD70ACes! Still looking for a good deal on a Kato Big Boy!
